When budgeting for business Reels production in 2027, compare the whole assignment: planning, filming, editing and delivery. Eight edits made from footage you supply and eight original videos filmed at your premises involve different work, even if both are sold as a monthly content package.

Lead The Mood’s published pricing starts at €1,050, excluding VAT, for a video production day with filming and editing. Growth starts at €1,400 per month and combines monthly video production with other marketing services. Reel quantities, shoot time and channel versions are agreed in the proposal. Neither starting price describes a fixed package of eight videos.

Prepared on 14 October 2026 to support 2027 planning. External offers describe the terms available when checked. The worked budget below is our own illustration, rather than a LTM tariff or a forecast of marketing results.

Published prices and package scope

These examples show how providers package recurring production. We retain their currencies and conditions: they are not a Spanish market average or guaranteed 2027 rates. Confirm availability, travel, taxes and deliverables with the provider before comparing a quote.

Published reference Starting price Production and key differences
Agencia 080, Barcelona From €425/month + VAT Three Reels, three posts, filming at the business and social management. Three-month minimum.
D3lab, Medellín COP 770,000/month, Basic Four Reels, a carousel, a post and one shoot. Two correction rounds. Publishing and travel outside Medellín are additional.
JAW Films, UK £700/month, Starter Four short videos, planning, production and editing; an agreed photo quantity. Three-month minimum. One-off equipment costs excluded.
Shootlab, UK From £1,250/month, Core A four-hour shoot, two Reels, ten or more images and a calendar template. Files supplied ready to post.

The useful comparison goes beyond cost per clip. Establish the time, production resources and outputs you are buying. Two Reels with photography and substantial shoot time may serve a different need from four simple videos. A price difference alone does not establish quality; review relevant work and the proposed delivery.

Editing, production or channel management?

Separate three services. An editing package starts with usable footage, information and a brief supplied by the client. Production includes creating and filming that footage. A managed service also takes on publishing, channel copy, agreed community work and performance review. If you need all three, a folder of finished videos still leaves important responsibilities with your team.

A recurring package makes sense when your products, knowledge or activity provide useful material every month. Identify eight messages before ordering eight pieces. If the only available idea is a business introduction, a one-off shoot and a reusable footage library may be a more suitable starting point than repeating the same introduction.

At LTM, Essential’s quarterly production session and Growth’s monthly video production have different frequencies. When comparing wider marketing support with a video-only retainer, use our general social media management pricing guide to separate the responsibilities.

Count original videos and exports separately

Define an original piece as a distinct idea with its own development and edit. A product demonstration, an answer to a buyer’s question and a team introduction can be three originals. Delivering the demonstration for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts creates three channel outputs, while the central idea remains one.

Our example distinguishes eight original videos from twenty-four exports: one version of each video for each of three channels. Cover treatment, subtitle placement and posting copy are specified. Another language, an alternative opening or a separate advertising edit may require additional work and should have its own counting rule.

Ask for a delivery list covering approximate duration, language, aspect ratio, subtitles and cover images. An agreed vertical video of twenty to forty seconds is easier to scope than unlimited content. The latter still needs an answer to who writes the ideas, how many are developed and how much filming time is available.

Prepare the shoot before the crew arrives

Usable camera time depends on preparation. A business with eight approved messages, ready products and an available spokesperson can organise a focused session. If every sentence is decided after the camera is set up, filming becomes a planning meeting and fewer useful shots are captured.

  • Messages: one buyer question and a specific answer for each video.
  • People: who appears, their availability and who checks the explanation.
  • Space: filming areas, background sound, lighting and product access.
  • Materials: samples, clothes, equipment or documents shown on camera.
  • Approval: one person consolidates comments before filming.

Define the session clock as well. Four hours may include setting up, sound checks, filming and packing away; it does not necessarily mean four hours of interviews. Ask whether another operator, a second location or interruptions caused by normal trading change the price. The schedule needs to work around the business.

Turn visual references into decisions

A useful reference establishes framing, atmosphere and visual language before production. In the Bitter creek image below, a diagonal figure dominates the composition while project information sits over a grid. That creates a practical briefing question: do you need a straightforward demonstration or a deliberately staged scene with a strong visual presence?

Bitter creek website with a diagonal hooded figure and project credits on a pale background
Bitter creek · Malvah and Geoff Dawes — website design · View project on Awwwards

Awwwards credits the website to Malvah and Geoff Dawes and records its Site of the Day award on 11 September 2025. We use the image as a visual direction reference. It is not a Reels campaign or a LTM project; a website award does not establish video marketing performance.

Translate the reference into production choices: background, wardrobe, lighting, movement and required shots. Where the look needs talent, a set or effects your business cannot supply, include those items in the brief. A folder of attractive images becomes more useful when each has a note explaining what you want to take from it.

Worked budget: eight original videos monthly

Consider one business, one location, one language and people from the client’s team. This illustration includes a four-hour monthly session with one operator, eight original vertical videos of twenty to forty seconds, subtitles, covers, short posting copy and twenty-four exports for three channels. The client publishes the files and handles enquiries.

One consolidated correction round covers changes within the approved scripts. Filming takes place within an agreed area, with travel included for this illustration. These amounts are fictional planning allocations, excluding VAT. They do not extend LTM’s published offer or commit the agency to future prices.

Illustrative cost item Defined work Amount excluding VAT
Initial preparation, once Interview, visual template and delivery organisation €350
Monthly planning Eight ideas, scripts and a shot list €300
Monthly filming One operator, one location and a four-hour session €750
Monthly editing Eight edits, sound, colour, subtitles and covers €600
Monthly adaptations and delivery Copy, exports and the agreed correction round €150
Monthly music allocation Fictional allowance; usage and licence to be confirmed €50
Recurring total 300 + 750 + 600 + 150 + 50 €1,850/month
First month 350 initial + 1,850 recurring €2,200
Three months 350 + 3 × 1,850 €5,900

Dividing €1,850 by eight gives an allocation of €231.25 per video. This is a way to distribute a package budget, rather than a quote for a standalone video. Preparation and travel are shared across the shoot; removing seven videos does not automatically remove seven eighths of the work. Three months is a budgeting horizon here, not a minimum commitment assigned to this illustration.

Define additional production costs

An illustrative four-hour allocation could allow thirty minutes for setup and sound, thirty for spoken answers, ninety for demonstrations, forty-five for supporting shots, thirty for checking and copying footage, and fifteen for packing away. That totals 240 minutes. It is a planning exercise, rather than a LTM schedule commitment: actual timing depends on the people, premises and complexity of the pieces.

The filming order need not follow the publishing calendar. Group shots using the same product or background, then use them in the relevant edits. Before packing away, check that the required details were captured. A missing product close-up can turn an editing correction into another visit. Agree who checks names, model numbers and factual explanations spoken on camera.

Allocate client time alongside the provider’s fee. Someone needs to prepare the products, participate in filming and approve delivery. That contribution does not appear on an agency invoice, but it affects whether monthly production can be sustained by your team.

The example excludes actors, rented locations, props, travel beyond the agreed area, translations, complex animation, raw footage delivery, publishing, community management, advertising management and media spend. It also excludes another shoot caused by changing the product or message after script approval.

Real requirements determine which extras to add. A bilingual interview needs both language versions checked; two shops may require two journeys; machinery available during one shift affects scheduling. Obtain the cost of a change before approving it. Agree how either party’s cancellation affects the shoot date, costs already incurred and the next delivery.

Agree usage, files and review

List where the videos will be used: company accounts, the website, advertising or screens at the premises. Ask the provider to identify the licences and permissions needed for those uses. A track appearing in an app does not by itself settle whether it is available for every business post or campaign.

Specify the files you receive and how long the production material is retained. Editable projects and original footage are different deliverables from final videos. If another agency will need to recut the material later, agree that access before filming and identify any additional costs.

Make review practical with one consolidated list: video timecode, requested change and reason. A corrected subtitle or job title is one kind of adjustment. Replacing the central explanation may mean rebuilding an edit or filming again. Define the boundary early so one correction round means the same thing to both teams.

Build a usable eight-video calendar

For a business selling a service it can demonstrate, a first-month plan could contain two buyer questions, two demonstrations, one process explanation, one team introduction, one comparison of options and one invitation to request details. This is our editorial exercise, not a client calendar or a promise of enquiries.

For each script, record what appears on screen, what is said and what a prospective customer needs to understand. In a demonstration, show the detail that separates the options. Answer the question before asking for contact. A closing prompt can direct viewers to a specific page or form, provided the business can handle that next step.

Choose the order around availability and commercial priorities. Eight videos per month does not mean two new posts in every week of the year. Allow for holidays and material that becomes outdated. Decide what can be captured in advance and what needs filming close to its publication date.

Review the first delivery cycle

Start with operational evidence: approved ideas, delivered files, requested corrections and the time your own team spent preparing. Then review the available channel data in context. Views, profile visits and clicks help describe the response, while each remains a different measure from a customer.

Where enquiries can be identified, record their questions and whether they fit the offer without assuming perfect attribution. A video may precede a branded search that another channel records. Use the review to choose what to repeat for clarity and usefulness as well as reach.

If production took too much client time, investigate the dependency before adding more output. A single spokesperson with eight unapproved scripts can become the bottleneck. A shorter interview, stronger briefing and an agreed approval deadline may help more than buying another shoot day immediately.

Request a 2027 Reels production quote

Send the business, filming city, available people, topics, channels and languages. Add two references with a sentence about the choice you like in each. Ask for shoot sessions, original pieces, adaptations, revision limits, timing and extra costs as separate items.

Tell us what your business needs to film each month. Based in Mataró and the Maresme, we scope coverage, production and delivery around the business. For 2027, the useful commitment is a defined service your team can prepare and sustain, supported by a budget that explains the full assignment.
